Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change. This policy outlines what happens if you need to cancel or modify your booking, and what to expect if we ever need to make changes on our end. We always aim to be fair and transparent — if you're unsure about anything, just reach out before booking.
01Cancellation by You
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to info@greenwavesmorocco.com. The date we receive your written notice is the date used to calculate any applicable refund.
The following refund schedule applies based on the number of days before your scheduled arrival:
- 60+ days before arrival: Full refund of all payments made, minus a €50 administrative fee.
- 30–59 days before arrival: Deposit is non-refundable. Any balance paid beyond the deposit will be refunded in full.
- 15–29 days before arrival: 50% of the total booking value is refunded. The remaining 50% is forfeited.
- 14 days or fewer before arrival: No refund is issued. The full booking value is forfeited.
- No-show: No refund is issued if you fail to arrive without prior cancellation notice.
02Date Changes & Rebooking
We know flexibility matters. If your plans change and you'd like to move your dates rather than cancel outright, we're happy to help where we can.
- 60+ days before arrival: One free date change is permitted, subject to availability. Subsequent changes may incur an administration fee of €25.
- 30–59 days before arrival: Date changes are permitted subject to availability. A rebooking fee of €50 applies.
- Fewer than 30 days before arrival: Date changes are treated as a cancellation and new booking. Standard cancellation fees apply.
- Rebooked stays must take place within 12 months of the original booking date.
- If the new dates are at a higher price, the difference must be paid. If lower, no refund of the difference is offered.
03Partial Cancellations & Early Departures
If you need to shorten your stay after arrival or cancel part of a group booking:
- Nights not used due to early departure are non-refundable.
- For group bookings, individual cancellations within the group will be treated according to the standard schedule in Section 01, based on the date notice is received.
- If your group size drops below the minimum required for a group rate, the per-person price may be adjusted accordingly.
04Cancellation by Green Waves Morocco
In the rare event that we need to cancel your booking, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer the following:
- Full refund of all payments made, processed within 14 business days.
- Or, if you prefer, the option to rebook at equivalent or discounted rates for an alternative date.
We are not responsible for any consequential costs you may incur (e.g. flights or travel arrangements). This is another reason we strongly recommend travel insurance.
05Force Majeure
In exceptional circumstances beyond our control — including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government travel restrictions, or civil unrest — the following applies:
- We will offer a credit note equal to the value of payments made, valid for 18 months from the original arrival date.
- Cash refunds in force majeure situations are not guaranteed but will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
- We encourage all guests to hold travel insurance that covers trip cancellation due to unforeseen events.
06Refund Processing
Where a refund is due:
- Refunds are returned to the original payment method used at the time of booking.
- Processing times are typically 7–14 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
- Any currency conversion losses due to exchange rate fluctuations are not covered by us.
- Administrative fees and non-refundable deposit amounts are always deducted before any refund is issued.
07Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and unforeseen events. This is the best way to protect your investment in case life gets in the way.
Green Waves Morocco cannot be held responsible for losses arising from a failure to obtain adequate insurance coverage.
